1. Information we collect
Dukanak stores the information you enter in the app, such as customer names, products, prices, inventory, sales, transactions, notes, and locally selected photos. This information is stored in the app's local database on your device.
We do not operate a server that collects, sells, or shares your business data.
2. Camera and photos
The app may request camera access to scan product barcodes and to take customer or product photos. Photo-library access may be requested when you choose an existing photo.
Photos are stored locally on your device. The app does not upload them to us.
3. Backups and Google Drive
Local backup files are created only when you choose to export or share a backup. Importing a backup replaces the current local data with the data in the selected file.
If you connect Google Drive, the app stores backups in a private app-data folder in your own Google account. Google handles that account and its data according to Google's privacy policy. You can disconnect Google Drive from the app at any time.
4. Security
You may protect access to the app with a PIN and, where supported by your device, biometric authentication. PIN and app-preference values are stored using the device's secure storage facilities. No biometric data is collected or sent to Dukanak.
5. Notifications
With your permission, Dukanak may send local notifications such as backup reminders. These notifications are generated for your device and are not used for advertising.
6. Analytics during testing
While Dukanak is distributed through a testing channel (such as Google Play closed testing), the app may collect limited, anonymous usage information to help improve it. This can include a randomly generated tester identifier, the screens you open, session length, app version, and crash diagnostics. This data is used only for quality and testing purposes.
This data never includes your customers, products, sales, transactions, photos, or any other business data. It is collected only in test builds, you can turn it off at any time from Settings > Testing & Privacy, and it is not collected in the public release.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or replace it through the app's import and management features. Google Drive backups remain in your account until you delete them or disconnect and manage them through the available account controls.
8. Children
Dukanak is a business record-keeping app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its privacy practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
